We won the Equality Trailblazer Award!

Inspire Education Trust is delighted to share that we have been named the winner of the Equality Trailblazer Award at the Coventry & Warwickshire Business and Community Awards 2026.

This award celebrates organisations leading the way in equality, diversity and inclusion, creating workplaces where every voice is valued and everyone has the opportunity to thrive. We are incredibly proud to receive this recognition.

We would like to congratulate all other winners on the night, and recognise the important work of fellow nominees. The collective effort across our region shows that this work goes far beyond any one organisation, and we are proud to be part of a wider movement creating meaningful change.

This award belongs to every single member of staff across all of our schools. It reflects the commitment shown every day to building inclusive environments where children, colleagues and communities can truly thrive.

A special mention was made to Gemma Hathaway for her leadership in equality and inclusion.

The award was accepted on behalf of the Trust by Lois Whitehouse, CEO, Gemma Hathaway, EDI Lead, and Josh Smith, Director of People and Culture, who all attended the evening.

We are grateful to the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, Claire Parker and Claire Algar for this recognition, and for continuing to highlight the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion across our region.
